Every year, the goal of the Foundation is to raise more than $30,000 in support of the school’s education mission.

This money is used to buy equipment and to fund special educational activities that directly benefit our children. In addition, thanks to your support, the Foundation allocates a "class budget” to every teacher in both schools (École Saint-Léon-de-Westmount and at the Charlevoix Annex) so they may purchase additional teaching materials to encourage academic success.

In recent years, the funds have funded several projects and teacher's initiatives to enrich the learning of our children. Examples include purchase of computers, preschool WEB applications, a series of writing workshops for Grade 1 students, Charlevoix Annex "theater" microphones, and a significant portion allocated to flexible furniture in different homeroom classes. In addition, the Foundation has contributed to the financing of the Saint-Léon relay and other sports and cultural activities. The Foundation supports initiatives that directly benefit students and are valued by teachers.
